TRADE in Brazilian pepper has come out of the doldrums with decent sales over the past couple of weeks.
Despite the sentiment of bullishness caused in the previous week by strong sales, prices decreased a little at growers as well as at exporters – and trades were been done at $6,100 a tonne average level for shipments from September onwards. In the case of closer shipments a premium of $100 a tonne was asked usually.
